Lucknow: Senior BJP leader and noted social worker Dr. Umesh Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the National General Secretary of Bharatiya Vaishya Mahasabha in recognition of his dedication to social service, organisational abilities, and extensive public experience.
The appointment was announced by National President Shankar Kumar Gupta, who honoured Dr. Gupta with an official nomination letter during a formal programme.
Dr. Umesh Gupta, who is widely associated with social and community activities in Lucknow and Ranchi, expressed gratitude for the responsibility entrusted to him and assured that he would work with sincerity and commitment to strengthen and expand the organisation across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that bringing various sub-groups of the Vaishya community onto a common platform would help enhance the community’s social participation and political representation. He also emphasized the need for unity and collective efforts to ensure wider organisational growth at the national level.
Following the announcement, members and office-bearers of the organisation expressed happiness and confidence over the appointment, describing it as a positive step toward strengthening the community network and expanding the organisation’s outreach nationwide.
